Our Outreach Initiatives
Moment Maker Gospel Outreach
Our outreach department began this ministry out of a burning desire to reach more with the message of Jesus! Not only does Moment Maker utilize our creative expertise in producing faith-based movies, music, and media. We also have an outreach department that does the physical work of evangelism in providing gospel tracks to thousands of homes every year! We kicked off with a bang after the Covid-19 pandemic, reaching over 5,000 homes our first six months.
5:16 Homeless Outreach
Prior to the pandemic Anthony Penney founded and successfully ran a street based homeless ministry in the heart of downtown Tampa. Week after week, Anthony and a group of volunteers would buy, prepare, and load up wagons full of food, water, blankets, Bibles, and hygiene products to personally hand out to the hundreds of homeless men and women living on the streets. The ministry grew and eventually over a dozen volunteers joined in to help provide for the needs of those who were living without homes. Today in 2023, Moment Maker continues their work with the homeless community through their ever growing Be Kind Initiative in which they provide financial support and work with churches to collect resources such as food and clothing to help provide for homeless shelters such as Metropolitan Ministries and The Gateway Rescue Mission
Campus Missions
Anthony's early years of evangelistic work led him to Pasco Hernando State College where he quickly partnered with a staff administrator by the name of Deborah Holdsworth to bring Christ into the secular campus through community activities, campus outreach, and Bible clubs. Anthony spent three years on campus, eventually taking over as president of the Christian club and preaching regularly on campus. Before exiting the ministry, he trained up a new leader who took over outreach work at Brooksville's North Campus and also helped to plant a new Christian group on the college's then brand-new Spring Hill campus.
